Are you looking to join a fun, innovative and growing company? Look no further, Idaho Material Handling, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing team. This is an accounting role for applicants with excellent aptitude including organizational skills and attention to detail.  Related experience including accounting education is a plus but not a requirement. This position will primarily be focused on project accounting (including project billing and job costing) and will be based out of our Idaho Falls, ID location. 

Essential Duties:

• Prepare and send project invoices.
• Track project costs including use tax and engineering time
• Enter credit card expenses and reconcile with weekly statements
• Answer incoming customer calls and accept credit card payments
• Customer account maintenance including light collections; will escalate accounts to Credit Manager when necessary
• Researching and resolving discrepancies between billings and issuing credits as necessary
• Purchase order verification, and on-line invoice submission as needed.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts
• Other accounting duties as assigned including account reconciliations and financial reporting

Qualifications:

• Must be highly organized and be able to multi-task
• Excellent attention to detail and efficient data entry
• Excellent written and oral communication as well as extensive problem solving and analytical skills
• Proficiency with Windows based operating systems & strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Accounting software and systems experience (we use Acumatica).
• Ability to work in a team environment to complete goals.
• Ability to identify and solve business problems (identifying process improvements is encouraged).

Typical Work Schedule:  M-F 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
